Kopigo
Support
Kopigo support is handled by email by the people who build the product. Kopigo is currently in development, so this page focuses on the questions early users actually hit.
Contact support
Email support@kajodex.com. Include your device platforms (for example "Android phone to macOS laptop"), what you did, and what you expected. Because your content is end-to-end encrypted, we cannot see what you sent — describing the situation helps us help you.
Never include passwords in support email. We will never ask for your password.
Common situations
A transfer never arrived
- Undelivered transfers expire after 30 minutes and are erased. If the receiving device was offline longer than that, send again once it is online.
- Check that the receiving device is still registered and not revoked in the device list.
- Both devices must be signed in to the same Kopigo account. Devices on different accounts cannot see each other.
A device shows a generic name like "macOS device"
- Device names are end-to-end encrypted per recipient device. A newly added device shows generic labels until one of your existing devices comes online and shares the encrypted names with it. This resolves automatically.
Android notifications do not appear
- If you force-stopped Kopigo in Android settings, Android blocks its notifications until you open the app again.
- Check that notifications are allowed for Kopigo in system settings.
- Notifications are intentionally generic: they never show the clipboard text itself.
History entries disappeared
- History keeps the 50 newest sent and 50 newest received entries per account on each device; older entries are removed automatically.
- If you enabled expiry options, entries and matching clipboard content are removed on the schedule you chose.
- History is local to each device and account. Signing in to a different account, or removing the app’s data, opens or removes a different local history.
I lost a device
- Revoke the lost device from any of your other signed-in devices. A revoked device can no longer send or receive transfers on your account.
- Also change your account password if you believe the device could be unlocked by someone else.
OCR or QR capture is unavailable
- Camera-based capture is available on Android and iOS. On desktop platforms the camera actions are intentionally disabled.
- Recognition runs on-device; it needs no network connection but does need camera or photo permissions.
Account help
Sign-in, email verification, password, and subscription questions are handled in the account portal. Account deletion has its own page.
